About Me

My name is Allen Wyatt. I have happily lived a rather normal life. In my adult life I earned a degree in radio/TV broadcasting. I’ve worked for television and radio stations, for newspapers, and for book publishers. I’ve worked as an on-air disc jockey, as a control techician for a television station, in both reporting and distribution for newspapers, and in all areas of book publishing. I have also worked as a computer programmer on a contract basis and for software companies.

For the largest part of my life, though, I’ve been a non-fiction writer. I wrote my first commercially published book in the latter part of the 1970s and have written many books since then. You can find out more about my writing by visiting the main page of this site.

My faith has always been an intrinsic part of my life and provides a framework for everything I do. I strive to be a disciple of Christ. You can find out more about my faith on this page.

If you want to know more about the purpose of my blog–this blog–you can find that information here.

I am new to this site Allen, however, after reading all the reviews I am looking forward to receiving the tips as well for Excel and Word 2013. Thank you.

Just subscribed and in a day I know that this is an important information source for me. Interesting that I should come from a broadcasting background (50 years) from on-air to CEO. For the past nearly 25 years I have been in another career as well. Internet informational and ecommerce. Like you, I found (and find) the knowledge of advertising to pay for content an excellent way to continue to be “employed”, and that there are many forms of paid advertising to use. Thank you for your service.

Just a quick note to let you know how much I appreciate your excellent content in my inbox. I work in a very small office and find that your MS Word newsletter is like having colleagues to share tips and tricks with. Plus your content is so well written! I just discovered that there is also an MS Excel e-newsletter. That news made my afternoon. All the best to you in 2020 and THANK YOU again for your excellent, thoughtful work.

Hey neighbor (I live in Mountain View) I agree with your opinion to why you don’t wear a mask. I also believe that I should be able to smoke (cigarettes) in public, airplanes, restaurants, etc. as in the past. The opinion on second hand smoke is widely believed but discounted by many professionals as inconclusive. I abide by the law but am working on petitioning Dellinger and Gordon to stop this. I have 4 kids and have smoked by them all their lives and they seem fine. Can I send you a copy of my petition?

    BTW, love your newsletter!
